The Little Pink Camera...

A few months ago, I took a trip to help a family member move. For various reasons, it was best to leave my son home with his papa while I went. It was the longest I'd ever been away from my son. I wanted to get him a little gift from the trip, but all of the little knickknacks I'd seen in shops along the way seemed lacking in some way. This little pink camera was being given away - it and many other things that were unwanted or couldn't fit into the cars to be moved were being left out on the upstairs balcony for other people in the complex, so I took the camera.
It worked out perfectly. My son loves it, and so do all the kids that come by to play. They all like to use it to take photos or videos, and I love to encourage them to be creative (and not have to worry about my camera getting dropped or little fingerprints all over the lenses).
Below are some of the images taken over the past few months by the kids (and myself - the first one below is mine. Even I like to play with the little pink camera - it's fun!). I love to see the images from the perspective of a child; to see what they feel is important enough to take a photo of.
