State of Love...
11/6/2018
This year has come and (almost) gone in a blink of an eye. I have to say, I've not done too much new shooting lately, but I have had the opportunity to revisit my older work and really sit down and look at it with a critical eye. My 'style' is starting to crystallize, and I feel more confident in my photographic journey now, looking back on all the mistakes I've made. It is a journey of learning - always learning new things: ways to make an image better, both while taking the shot and in post-processing; ways to make my work easier; discovering new people who inspire me to be my very best.
In the upcoming months, look for new posts featuring different aspects of photography, talking about what worked (or what didn't), what equipment I used, and more.
Meanwhile, the majority of my new images have been devoted to my growing family. What can I say? Good photography helps bring the important things into focus, and my family is definitely at the forefront of my list of important things. I've fell into the utmost state of love, living and learning with my two little guys and their papa. They never cease to amaze me, these three wonderful people. Yes, being a parent is hard, but life in general is not easy. I can confidently say: I love my life, I love my family, I love this Land of Enchantment.
