My Goth Garden...

7/11/2015
Inspired by the rainy city gardens today, I came home with the need to add a Goth Garden to the grounds. Full of things with spikes and hordes of mating locusts and the occasional black dragonfly. Giant hornets. Berries of white flesh and flowers the color of blood. Yes, a place where one can go to cry black eyeliner into streaks as you sink into the mud in the pseudo-grave. Surrounding the pit are the blackened bodies of the dahlias, looking as though they’ve been dipped in tar, though the buds open into that beautiful crimson bloom.
