Meditations on Love and Loss - Vol. X...
4/7/2019
An open letter to all those who have touched my life, who have moved out into the everywhere:
I still think of you. I still think of what I have learned from you, and what you still teach me. Thank you. I love you. I am thankful for you. I am thankful to have been a recipient of your lessons. And, oh, how hard some of those lessons are.
I hold sacred spaces for you. Lichen covered boulders and tiny red succulents growing in crevices. I see you there. I feel you all around me, in everything, and yet some days you feel very far away. Never quite close enough.
Oh, Beauty, Beauty! and decay... All around. As one.
