Love in the Air...

Autumn/Late summer wedding out in the Sandias. It seems that most of the weddings I've been shooting lately, I've gravitated towards photos of the children in attendance. Not exclusively, obviously. (I'm sure that none of the couples would have been overly thrilled to receive photos only of the children in the wedding party, as cute as they were.) The kids are just always moving around, always doing something. There is something exciting going on where ever the kids may be, so my eye is drawn to the action.
I've really been enjoying all the different weddings. It is such a special place to be - to have the opportunity, the privilege, of documenting this magical time in a relationship. I love to see the little secret messages that the couple builds into their day - the looks, the decorations, the locations. All the events that I've attended as photographer have been so different, save for the love present. The love permeates the landscape, the people... the photographs. I love it!
(I have a new website in the works! A strictly business photography site!!! (Of course, I'll still be devoting as much - even more! - time to radiantmoonchild; it has grown to be my own little project, documenting happenings in my life and art, but it has grown into a bit of a monster for business purposes, so for booking weddings, fashion shoots, publicity photos, and more, sacredlifephotography.com will be the way to go. I can't wait until it is up and running so I can share it with you, but it is not up yet, so we'll all just have to wait...)
