![]() Day Two Hundred Eighty One Sandwiched in between hours of rain on both sides, the ceremony this afternoon went off without a hitch (except that the bride and groom ARE hitched, now ;) ) Nice event, out in the North Valley (ironically close to the Balloon Fiesta park). Off to enjoy some tea and homemade zucchini bread while I get back into the editing. ![]() Day Two Hundred Ninety Six The leaves are changing, so many beautiful hues all around... Time for some golden cottonwood fun in the bosque! These layers upon layers of leaves on my trumpet vine in the most delicate shade of yellow were lit up in the most magical way. Oddly enough, I liked the shot better in black and white. Some days are just like that. ![]() Day Two Hundred Ninety Seven We have this vine growing in the back corner of our yard. It is very happy there. So happy that it is encroaching on the three bordering yards, so I chopped all the rogue bits back. I was left with a huge pile of tangled vine. I'd been wanting to do one of those 'huge dress' shots, so I went in and grabbed the ladder and covered it in vines, and viola! A huge vine dress. ![]() Day Three Hundred Five Rather than go trick-or-treating (no complaints here!), the boys opted to dress up as "bad fairies" (who apparently also have hands as feet...), and make their own Halloween goodies: ice cream in a bag and chocolate mice, and then topped off the festivities with dry ice ghost bubbles :)
