This month has been full of questions. Loss and questions. So many amazing people suffering great loss. The loss of fathers and mothers, the loss of children, the loss of friends. It brings up so many unanswered questions, and the only way I can make some sense of it all is by spending some quiet time in meditation. Often, I'll use some of my drishti images for my practice. Here are some I've made over the course of the past few weeks.

On my way home from a presentation at the museum, I saw a wonderful wall of wisteria. In full bloom, and facing west, it was perfect for an afternoon shoot. Rah and I tried out some makeup techniques and went out to the wall. There was another photographer there already, taking some portraits against the flowery backdrop. We tried some different shots, and things just weren't working out as I'd pictured. We did end up with some nice shots, but the shoot wasn't quite as I'd expected.
"Faces or Vases?" photo by Rah, editing by moi "Vintage Wisteria" photo and editing by me I went away looking for inspiration, and it found me when I returned home.
