work zone sign vivint solar
Day Two Hundred Seventeen This was the sign to my backyard (and the same one at the front door, too). Luckily, the installation went really quickly, under 3 hours, and then we could go play outside again! And, YAY, now we have solar power!!! I've been waiting for this for a long time!
black and white tomato leaf
Day Two Hundred Eighteen The tomato plants are loving the rain (and so am I! I haven't watered the garden for a week, but it looks better than ever :) ) Lots of little tomatoes almost ready to pick!

Day Two Hundred Nineteen I won a free facial from a nice lady. These photos were in the hallway of the studio. #nofilter Just kidding.

mortal remnants pendant macaw feather turtle bone butterfly wing
Day Two Hundred Twenty One Sneak preview of the Mortal Remnants Pendant series Feather, Wing, and Bone (Blue and Gold Macaw; Butterfly; Soft-shell Turtle) I'm so excited to present this look into this newest jewelry series, with each unique piece being offered for sale starting October 1st at the El Rito Studio Tour! (I'll be at stop #15 - http://www.elritostudiotour.org/) The Mortal Remnants series is a combined effort of many, many hands. They were assembled by three of us; the parts that compose them were found and gathered by myself and countless others (thanks, everyone who saved your 'dead stuff' for me, despite the weird looks - haha :) ); even the vintage pendant trays and display were lovingly brought to me by friends. The love of an entire community can be felt in these pieces. There is a tremendous amount of power held within, and each one is a unique artwork <3 You can see a select few others here: http://www.radiantmoonchild.com/mortal-remnants.html

Day Two Hundred Thirty Three Didn't take any pictures today. It was the first day of the year that I just didn't pick up the camera. I worked on digital collage, though, along with many other things throughout the day.

Day Two Hundred Thirty Four Winding down for the final days of Studio BLUE. It has been a beautiful journey, these last four years, with many incredible people coming to cross our paths within these walls. It is now a time for change, and the space will be in different hands yet again, though in this incarnation it will still be a space for yoga. The energy is amazing in this space, and though I will miss certain aspects of it as it is now, the future is looking brighter every day! Onward!

Day Two Hundred Thirty Eight Today, a nice skull of a smaller 'cousin' of T-Rex that had been found in the Bisti De-Na-Zin Wilderness several years ago was returned to the Natural History Museum. The specimen had been on loan to the Smithsonian, part of a group of particularly nice fossils found on BLM lands. It was uncrated this morning at the museum collections facility.
