BioPark Tribute...

11/23/2016
I've enjoyed visits the the ABQ BioPark more now that I can take my kiddo along. We often want to go to different parts of the park, or stay in different areas longer, but no matter where we end up, I enjoy the time we spend together - at the BioPark, or wherever we end up.
Here are a few shots from this summer that sat around collecting metaphorical dust until today :)
child silhouette in tube slide
locust close up
peach colored flower on salt stained concrete
newly emerged atlas moth
striped blue whiptail lizard with pink flowers
succulent blooming and with seedpods forming
caterpillar posing
While I'm not always thrilled about animals in captivity (and therefore spend much more of my visits to the BioPark at the Botanic Gardens and Tingley Beach), I do appreciate the fact that we have an awesome set-up for our city, and are very fortunate to have such an amazing array of microcosms just a short drive away.
I am excited that I'll have some of my photos (none of these in this post) featured in the 2017 ABQ BioPark Calendar! (You can purchase one HERE.)
